10 Things to Know about iPhone 4

Besides being “beautiful,” what actually makes this iPhone different? After attending the unveiling and talking with analysts and bloggers, here’s our quick list of 10 things you should know about the iPhone 4, which goes on sale June 24, and costs between $199 and $299. Apple CEO Steve Jobs says the iPhone 4, which debuted on Monday, is the “biggest leap forward” the iPhone has made since it was introduced in 2007.
No 10. Multitasking
The iPhone’s operating system, which Apple calls iOS 4, got an upgrade along with the iPhone 4′s hardware. Among the most-awaited changes is multitasking, which means that the phone can run multiple applications at once. Want to listen to internet radio and check e-mail at the same time? Starting on June 21, you can with the iPhone.
Several other smartphones have featured multitasking for some time. So Apple is not blazing new territory here. Jobs says the company waited to add the feature until it could do so without sucking down too much of the phone’s battery life.
No 9. Video conferencing
In addition to the back-of-the-phone camera improvements, Apple also added a second camera to the iPhone 4, which faces its user. No 8. Sharper screen
In his Monday keynote address at Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference, Jobs sounded more excited about the iPhone 4′s new screen than anything else.
With 326 pixels per inch — four times that of previous Apple phones — Jobs says the iPhone 4′s “retina display” screen is years ahead of anything else on the market.
“Text looks like you’ve seen it in a fine printed book — unlike you’ve ever seen on an electronic display before,” he said. “Once you’ve used a retina display you can’t go back.”
No 7. Gyroscope
“These phones are getting more and more intelligent about the world around them,” Jobs said. That’s true of the iPhone 4, which has five sensors, including a gyroscope.
What does that mean for users? Probably cooler games and apps. The iPhone 4′s internal gyroscope can sense motion on six axes. On Monday, Jobs showed a demo where he pivoted in a circle, and the stack of blocks in an app spun with him. The phone is basically more aware of where it is in the world, in relation to gravity, than it was before. It’s hard to say exactly what app developers will do with this, but likely something.
No 6. Thickness
The iPhone 4 will be the thinnest smartphone on the market, Jobs says. At 9.3 millimeters (0.37 inches) thick, it is 24 percent thinner than the previous iPhone model, the 3GS, he said.
“I don’t think there’s another consumer product like this,” he said. “When you hold it in your hand it’s unbelievable.” The iPhone 4′s screen remains the same size as before, 3.5 inches when measured diagonally. That makes it smaller than some Android phones, which are its main competitors. But that may not be a good thing. As people watch more video on their phones, they’re demanding larger screens, some analysts say.
No 5. Camera flash
In what’s largely seen as a catch-up move, Apple added an LED flash to the iPhone 4′s camera, which lets mobile photographers shoot photos and video more easily at night.
No 4. Better camera
The quality of the iPhone 4′s camera is improved over previous models. The iPhone 4 shoots photos with 5 megapixels of resolution, compared to 3 megapixels before. That’s still not the best on the market. The HTC Droid Incredible has an 8-megapixel camera, for example. The Nexus One, another competitor, has a 5-megapixel camera, too.
The iPhone 4 also shoots HD video, and a video-editing app called iMovie, which Apple will sell, allows people to shoot, edit and share videos with the phone.
No 3. Stainless steel antennae
The iPhone 4 is flat on the front and back, and a band of stainless steel goes around the edge as a trim. This isn’t just a design feature, Jobs said. It’s actually the antennae.
“It’s never been done before and it’s really cool engineering,” Jobs said.
No 2. Processor
The iPhone 4 has a new processor — the A4 — which Apple says makes the phone faster than competitors and faster than the processor in the iPhone 3GS. Apple debuted the A4 processor as part of the iPad slate computer in January.
But the iPhone 4′s capacity to store books, videos and music disappointed some. The high-end model stores 32 gigabytes of data, which isn’t any more than the iPhone 3GS.
No 1. Wireless carrier
The iPhone 4 is only available with a contract from the wireless carrier AT&T. That’s bad news for some people. Bloggers have been begging Apple to open the iPhone to multiple carriers — and specifically to Verizon — for some time. Some iPhone users, particularly those in bigger cities like New York and San Francisco, have complained that AT&T drops their calls and doesn’t handle data requests quickly enough.
A Speaker Dock for Your iPad

If the iPod can be put on a speaker dock, then its larger cousin iPad should have its own line of docks as well. This probably ran through the minds of people behind Bang & Olufsen, which is why they unveiled a massive dock for the iPad.
The BeoSound 8 dock features a central single control and a pair of speakers that appear round from the front, but are actually conical. The device also accepts iPods, as well as line and USB in. The dock is now available in Europe for 895 euros (about US$1,228) and is expected to be sold in the United States later this year.
Acer Release Windows 7 ?

Sony Unveils 3D Vaio Laptop at IFA 2010

The famous Japanese tech company Sony looks forward to become the first to introduce to the world 3D laptops with 1080p display capabilities.
Recently the firm presented its 3D Vaio laptop prototype at IFA 2010.
It is expected that the new 3D Vaio laptop includes 3D button and Bravia shutter glasses in order to part what the right and the left eyes see.
The 16-inch laptop unveiled at IFA 2010 has a 16:9 display and comes with a 240Hz refresh rate, so it would match with the 3D rate of 60 frames per second.
The company plans to launch its 3D laptop in the spring of 2011. The device will include the innards of the Sony Vaio F.
Currently there is no information regarding the price and other features of the laptop, but Sony mentioned that the new device will be somewhat different from the prototype it presented at the press event.
3D OLED Glasses With Diopter Adjustment

The famous Carl Zeiss has been manufacturing their popular Cinemizer video glasses for several years. Recently the company added to its glasses the 3D capability.
The glasses, dubbed Cinemizer Plus, can be now used for home theatre and various video games. They have a small 16:9 format OLED display in each eyepiece that boasts a resolution of 640×480 pixels.
The viewer gets the feeling of watching a 45-inch screen from a distance of 6.5 feet.
You can link a small external box to numerous playback sources such as iPod and iPhone. It is also possible to connect it to a number of other phones, video players, game consoles, laptops and even Blu-ray players.
An interesting feature of Cinemizer Plus from Carl Zeiss is a separate diopter adjustment for each eyepiece. Thus you will eliminate the need to wear 3D glasses on top of your regular glasses.
The onboard battery can hold for about 4 hours. It can be charged via USB connection. Today the glasses can be bought for about $ 390.

Sony Ericsson to Launch PSP Go-like Smartphone Powered by Android 3.0

Rumors say that Sony Ericsson is currently working on a PSP Go-like smartphone that will be powered by Gingerbread (Android 3.0) gaming platform.
The slider phone looks like a fusion between Samsung Captivate and the PSP Go and the main target audience is the gaming fans.
It would be interesting to note that the new device from Sony Ericsson will include a WVGA resolution touchscreen display that will be between 3.7 and 4.1 inches. In addition, the handset will feature a landscape slide out game control panel.
A long touchpad will be used as a joystick, plus users will benefit from standard PSP buttons. The controls will be located where the QWERTY keyboard usually is. Besides, the phone will boast a 5 megapixel camera.
The new smartphone will be running a 1GHz Snapdragon CPU. It was said that the Android market will boast a separate section dedicated to the PSP Gaming device. The titles that are currently being mentioned include God of War, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, and LittleBigPlanet.
It is possible that the handset will be presented in October. However, the information has not yet been confirmed.

Well … if you like drag racing on local streets, u must to be carefully right now. Don’t ever try to drag again. Because, i give you some info a countdown timer like on the top picture. Otherwise, traffic light gadgets like this very helpfull for the drivers. You can shut off the engines for energy savings. For me, this is a good traffic light in European. It shows yellow signal to be carefull ( warning signal ) and indicates the light turning into green.
Firefox is a bad news for Internet Explorer

Bad news for Microsoft. The Hero of browser, Internet Explorer (IE) lost market share back in March 2009. While close competitors , IE, Mozilla Firefox and hold it up.
Launch Internet Explorer 8 that has not been a significant interest to reach consumers. According to data released last Net Applications, the market share of IE has decreased below 67 percent, the lowest in the last 2 years.
Since April 2007 IE powers has lost more than 12 percent. Meanwhile, Mozilla Firefox increased 7 percent. According NetApplication, in March 2009 on the 22.05 percent of the Firefox browser market.
Different with Apple’s browser, Safari is also the more shining in March to reach 8.23 percent market share. Google Chrome’s also quite a success because although still relatively new reach has 1.23 percent market share position, which means skip Opera.

Motorola Stingray is coming in 2011

Motorola Stingray is another iPad competitor. The American company paid a large amount of resources, invested a lot of effort into developing its new device, which is a 10-inch Tablet PC running Android 3.0 operating system. Its main trump will be the hardware capabilities that are provided by Nvidia Tegra dual-core Cortex A9 processor at 1 GHz, enabling smooth playback of High-Definition video (no mention of whether it is 720p or 1080p). Built-in memory of the machine will be 16 GB, but will probably expand with the help of multimedia memory cards.
The price of a Stingray is not yet known, but its official marketing is expected in early 2011.
